They have a great deal of duty or responsibility to retain and develop these sciences to bring back the glory and comfort to Indians and of course the rest of the mankind.(REMEMBER IF SURROUNING (SOCIETY) IS IN TRANQUILITY, THATS THE BEST ENVIRONMENT TO EXCEL IN LIFE.).

IIT-INDIANS should develop an(IOOS) Indian Open Operating System right from scratch to an Advanced level, capable of incorporating latest technologies like AI, Data-warehousing, Data-Mining,etc., on WAR-FOOTING BASIS so that a lot Foreign Exchange in terms of LICENSE FEE is SAVED & as well GoodWill License Fee can be EARNED (It is their duty to do so as Indian Govt. i.e., each citizen is paying taxes and their faclities are funded by the Govt. This would be their right tribute to the Freedom fighters in terms of SCIENTIFIC INDEPENDENCE and nation as whole). Confidently every Indian would volunteer to spend Rs.100/- per annum, and there would be absolutely no hesitation in this aspect.
IOOS will become an OPEN Standard, and every Indian would be proud in learning and enhancing it, thus participate and enhance INTER+National Integration.
Education Ministry should introduce "Space Science" at school level as it is going to be the next big thing after the "Computer Age". This will propel India to LEAD, top five nations in the world, in the cause EQUALITY AMONG HUMANS.
As per my knowledge the future sciences are Indian Sciences, optical science, Material-Bio-Techological science, computing and space science.
